Actually, my goal that day was to get up on the skyline trail and get in some great skiing. It was perfect snow for climbing. I had on my shortest 166 skis and had no slipping problems at all. Long story short, I never did come across the skyline trail. Everything was going so well, with the beautiful sunny day and all, and no climbing problems, I just stayed on the trail I was on. That is how I accidentally ended up on top of Hoodoo. I can hardly wait to go looking for the skyline trail again next season.
